I believe increasing numbers of white South Africans are being employed throughout the southern states (USA). By WSA I mean those with farming experience. They are replacing local African American employees who have traditionally picked cotton (for instance) even though the SAs cost more. The attraction, I guess, is that white SAs work for a living and are good at what they do – are employed on a seasonal basis. It may be that, given current immigration covid curbs, SAs are currently entering the states via nonconventional means?
